Here's an idiom for you to try out this week in your daily speaking practice!

We use this to mean 'I have no idea and I’m going to agree with what you say because I have no clue myself.' It can be a little bit dismissive as it suggests you have no interest in something. but it depends how you say it.
Most commonly it just means that you really don’t know something.
You only use it in conversation when you're talking to someone, you wouldn't use it on it's own or for giving speeches etc.
Let’s have a look at a few examples:
I wonder how much the renovation is costing them...
Well, your guess is as good as mine.
Do you know how long it is until the next train?
No idea, your guess is as good as mine.
I wonder how many students study here...
Not a clue, your guess is as good as mine.
As I mentioned before, be careful with this phrase, it can sound a bit rude but if you say it with a rising intonation it sounds more curious, rather than negative and uninterested.
